I’m Shelley…an interior designer and content creator who believes your home should feel both beautiful and lived in.

I’ve always loved creating spaces, but what I love even more is helping people make confident decisions in their homes…because the number of choices can feel overwhelming fast. From big things like layout and cabinetry to the smaller details that pull everything together, I help my clients create homes that feel cohesive, timeless, and truly theirs.

My style leans warm, layered, and organic…with a mix of classic elements and lived-in comfort. I’m drawn to natural materials, soft neutrals, and spaces that feel calm without being boring.

Alongside my design work, I share projects and everyday life online (follow along @shelleybateshome)…giving a real look at what it takes to create a home. Not just the finished photos, but the decisions and process behind them.

I live with my husband and our three precious children, designing homes for clients while also building and operating our luxury micro resort, Sycamore, in the Red River Gorge, Kentucky…a project that has stretched and inspired my creativity in all the best ways.
