How I Transformed My Bedroom with Romabio’s Venetian Glaze
When it came time to give my bedroom a makeover, I knew I wanted something special for the walls. I considered paint, but my heart was wanting texture and some kind of movement.
After researching a few options, I discovered Romabio’s Venetian Glaze and was immediately drawn to its stunning finish and eco-friendly benefits.
If I’m being honest with you, I’m totally obsessed with this product.
Why I Chose Romabio’s Venetian Glaze

Romabio offers two products for interior walls: Velatura Mineralwash and Venetian Glaze. After sampling them both, I was so impressed with both products.
I decided to go with Venetian Glaze simply because I liked the idea of applying it with a trowel and I do think it creates more visible texture than the mineralwash.
However, I don’t think you can go wrong with either!
These are mineral paints so they’re completely toxin-free and have zero-VOC. I couldn’t believe that there was no smell…seriously, no stinky paint smell!
The Results
The transformation was…INCREDIBLE. I mean, look at that movement!
The Venetian Glaze gave my walls a plaster-like finish and I couldn’t be happier with it.
Some people say it looks like velvet and I have to agree.

I simply added a small amount of the Venetian Glaze to my trowel and started applying it to the walls in curved movements.
The first coat should be very thin. After it dries, apply the second coat the same way.
The second coat is where the magic happens!

Final Thoughts
I’ve used a lot of products during my DIY years and this is by far my most favorite product I’ve ever used (and that’s saying a lot!).
I love the custom color tinting option, the fact that it’s so easy to apply, and the unbelievable finish it gives…full of texture and movement.
