Hi! I’m Shelley and I live just south of Nashville, Tennessee. I’m married to my best friend, Greg, and we have two precious babies, Bo & Gracie (and one on the way!). I was a professional singer/songwriter for 10 years before we had our first baby and I honestly expected to go back to work shortly after having Bo. However, the weeks turned into months and I just couldn’t bring myself to leave him! One of my best girlfriends encouraged me to start an Instagram account to share all of the DIY projects I was doing during nap time. I thought she was crazy, but the idea never really left me. I took the plunge and started @shelleybateshome in February 2021. Before I knew it, my little account had turned into a full-time job! I absolutely love sharing my projects with you and teaching you everything I’ve learned over the years.
