5 Simple Ways To Decorate For Fall

If you’re looking for simple ways to decorate for fall…keep reading! I’ve also rounded up some of my favorite fall decor pieces.

Fall is here!

I’m not sure if it’s the cool, crisp, mornings…or eating pumpkin everything…or the fact that the holidays are right around the corner…

But I absolutely love the autumn season and I couldn’t be happier to start bringing fall elements into my home.

I thought it would be fun to share 5 of my favorite ways to decorate for fall, simply and inexpensively.

Fall Florals

This may be my favorite way to decorate for any season, honestly.

I love going outside and clipping live (or dead!) foliage to use throughout my home, but I also have gorgeous faux stems that I’ve used year after year.

I enjoy big, statement-making arrangements, but also like bringing out smaller accents on shelves, kitchen corners, and end tables.

Fall Throws

Nothing says cozy and autumn like a chunky knit fall throw. I have a few different throws that I like bringing out around September, and I usually end up buying a new one each year.

It’s such a simple way to soften up a space and bring in that autumn feel!

I always have a throw draped across my sofa, one on the side of an accent chair or dining chair, usually one hanging over baskets and on our master bed.

Pumpkins

How can you go wrong, right?

My home is a bit neutral for the bright orange of those big, beautiful pumpkins my kids love…so we bring those home to carve and Mama buys the white and muted tones to place around the house.

You can also paint faux pumpkins to match your style a bit better. I’ve done that in the past and they turned out really cute!

Pillows

A super easy way to make your home feel more like fall is to swap out sofa pillows for something more cozy and colorful.

I love mustards, maroons and cognacs for fall pillows and I’ve linked a few of my favorites below!

Autumn Wreaths

One of my favorite ways to decorate for any season is updating my front door wreath.
