After designing a lot of kitchens, here are 5 mist After designing a lot of kitchens, here are 5 mistakes I wouldn’t make again:

️⃣ Not taking cabinets to the ceiling. It just collects dust and wastes storage…and let’s be honest: cabinets to the ceiling just looks good 🤩 It makes your kitchen feel taller and more finished. You’ll never regret it!

️⃣ Designing around trends. They come and go! I always recommend mixing timeless choices with a few things you can swap out later if you want a refresh.

️⃣ Roll-out shelves instead of deep drawers. Roll-outs mean you’re opening a door *and* a shelf. Deep drawers are a game changer…easier, cleaner, and they hold so much more.

️⃣ Leaving the fridge exposed. A panel-ready fridge is beautiful, but it’s not in everyone’s budget. A great alternative is enclosing it on the sides. It instantly looks more custom and your kitchen will feel finished.

️⃣ Not making your kitchen feel like YOU. If you’re anything like me, the kitchen is where you spend most of your time..so make it beautiful, and make it yours. Pinterest is great for inspiration, but the best kitchen is the one that feels like home to you.
