Rustic Modern Dining Room Reveal
The dining room is DONE and I’m sharing all of the links and details today!
As with most of my rooms, there are more thrifted finds and DIYs than store bought products…
But I’ll link what I can 🙂
I knew this table (here is a similar gorgeous option) belonged here but it needed new life. Greg built it for our 5th wedding anniversary (swoon!) but the stain/wax sealant had turned a bit orange over the years.
So after a good sanding, I landed on a stain combo I love: Old Masters Spanish Oak + white wash + another layer of Spanish Oak.
Do you guys remember when I found this teak ball at a festival last weekend?
Ohemgee.
It was love at first sight. Greg thought I was nuts for paying $99 for a wooden ball. But when we got home I found one online for over $700…he was convinced after that. Ha!
I think these chairs are the perfect addition to the room.
I love the contrast with the dark wood of the table.
I’m a lover of live plants, so I found a branch that needed to be pruned on a tree in my backyard and put it in a mason jar full of water. Here is a similar faux tree!
When the leaves die, I’ll glue faux leaves on the branch so I can keep it forever!
This rug is one of my new favorites…I love the colors and how it balances out the room. And great news…it’s washable!
This light fixture (*insert star eyes*). I wish it came down a little lower, but with the tray ceiling in this room, I had a hard timing finding a chandelier I loved that would hang low enough.
I actually found this one new in the box on marketplace!
I have used these curtains for years and have them in most of our rooms. They look much more expensive than they are and there are multiple gorgeous color options.
Did I miss anything?! Let me know.
